Inspiring posts for all ye goalys out there! Cech surely is one of the better Chelsea players, although his recent performance in the Chelsea V Valencia match surely isn't one of the better ones. He made a mess out of too many clearances!

woohoo. Today i made the 1ST save in 7 trainings! so freaking cool. haha but it was a good save la, a header to the somewhat top corner, brilliantly tipped round the post for a corner. today i think i played well, so did sam and yaolei. My kicking was good, great punts! And i was commanding enough too, hope coach sees the effort i put in and eventually give me the no.1 jersey. Gonna train hard so i can make COE.

Har HAR HAR. Today's project's day was much better than we expected. Sam and Terrance managed to do quite abit on their own as they both stayed up late to do the project.

Quite good right. Haha. I'm like super encouraged by what we have achieved with our usual last-min attitude to actually really put some effort into the project and easily go pass the Finals into Grand Finals. I think it's not too far off, the judges were quite convinced as I could see. Our live performance of In Love With The Girl Not Just Her Thighs was pretty good too, was "tight" as said by Kunwon ( sp? ). Haha, my bass tone was nice, but it didnt really jump out of the mix. It suits me tho, I prefer to play a more supportive role, and not WANKER-BASSIST in the band. If we all put our egos aside, I'm sure we achieve far with this band.

Tmr must go see Hon. Don't know why also. Not really afraid, it can't be about results. Should be about CCA. Don't really care also. I finished studying chem by 10pm. Haha dam good right. I did tys section A and B. It's quite good practice i reckon. Now studying physics, it's like dam confusing la. Dam dam dam dam. Hope CHIAKEAN does easy tests. The notes look confusing though. Hope i dont screw up these tests.

It's dam nice la. Currently it's at the washing machine area hanging out to dry. Can't wait to use it on Wednesday! But dam xin tong, should it get chipped. I think right, it's better to use your gloves, and to change them like every 6 months, like my previous Lotto Neo-Concept. It's not very expensive, should cost about 70 to 90 ( depending on glove quality ) per 6 months. Compared to buying a "training glove" that isn't that high quality nor durable, 30 per 2 months, which would cost 30 x 3 = 90 in 6 months. I could have stuck with a higher quality, and better grip glove! That's why i decided to bomb for the G-Force. It looks real cool anyway, and PETR CECH is my IDOL!! Haha. I think i wont play tmr la, before geog lessons. I will go study. Best to study then to play, then wont get distracted nor tired. Speaking of being tired,i'm dam tired as i type this now. Haven't slept for 36 hours due toe watching the World Cup finals last night. Even though my supported team won ( SPOILER : Italy ) , I think it wasn't THAT exciting or all to rave about.

Projects Day. Hmm, rushed home after school, then went to Terrance's house to finish up on our project. We haven't recorded a thing yet, cos terrance's mike screwed up at the most opportune time, and also because daniel had to leave "because of tuition mah". Lol. I DID help out to write out some backgrounds for our songs, looks good. Hope our website looks impressive and able to bowl the judges over. Think we're gonna perform at the judging thing tmr cos we really cant record in time. Who cares, wont be hard, root notes only what! Haha. Okay la, might still screw up, but which person down there would really be so discerning as a listener.

I want to nap now. And play soccer on Wednesday. =)

Yay. Today i went back to school with yaolei at 2pm plus ( left yishun ) and reached about 2:45. We went to school with the objective of training kicking and one-touch clearances ( for yao ). Haha. Dam sorry to yao lei man, i was late like 25 min. LOL. Sorry. After talking with coach on sat regarding my progress, he feels that my positioning and kicking is letting me down. I'm gonna work on these two, however, kicking is taking up the main emphasis as it's one of the more basic elements of the game. I'm proud to say that i finally got what it is meant to take a goalkick, the plant foot, the swing etc etc. I feel that i can control these variables and achieve a consistent goalkick. Even though it is high now.. It still aint far enough! It's only around to the midfield line, or even shorter. I must hit it like the Premiership goalkeepers, past the midfield line and to the end of the midfield circle at the opposing half. The big game is on 4 Aug ( Friday ). I will play to my best and achieve a win for the team. Damn, such pressure. But I wont let it go to me. Haha. Okay, now got history essay to do. Dam la. So much work, all i wanna do is just to train soccer and be better BETTTER BETTER! I really really hope that i can make it into COE... really hope so..

Woohoo. Such a long time without a post. I've decided to revive my blog. At least partially :D

Just came back from a distribution evening training session with my good friend yao lei. I hope all the hard work i put into soccer would pay off, and I will be able to secure a place in an U-18 S.League side. Even though i know i am one of the key players for the High School team, I cannot be complacent at such a crucial time.. Dam, wish i could kick like that fat dude at the geylang trials last year. In retrospect, i think i completely and totally SUCKED at the trials last year. I mean like uber-screw up. I couldn't even take a goalkick, punted like a noob, and dived unneccessarily for a ball to the top corner. Like they would always say, you're always the biggest critic of yourself. I guess that's good, at least that keeps you down-to-earth and drives you on. Speaking on motivation, i think Coldplay's Clocks motivates me really well. I always get very motivated to go train even more to better myself whenever i hear that song. Haha, dam NICEEE.

Goals:

Beat Jaryl for the JC keeper spot.
Take goalkicks consistently well.
Punt far. REALLY far.
Refine catching.
Get into COE.
FAS team.
Attain weight of 60 kg and above.

Hope that I can achieve my goals. I know it will definitely be possible given effort, but I have my end of years too. But i know now that i really want to make it big in soccer. I wanna be the best that i can ever be! Training is the only way one can ever become good.

Today i went for the FORTY DAYS of purpose which is really good and purposeful. HA. no pun intended though..... HEHE. hm. okay.. the fifth purpose is Evangelism. this word may seem big and kornfouzing to many, but in native Greek, it actually just means sharing good news. now, what good news may this be? naturally, this piece of "good news" is about Jesus, and that He died for you on the cross so that you might be saved. Notice i said YOU! Yes YOU! You sitting down there, sitting in front of the computer, confused about the purpose of life. Nope, it's not just to study nor play games, it is to live life so that it might please God. You were created in the likeness of Jesus, and thus discipleship,which is to be more like Jesus, should happen in your life too.

Let me ask you, do you think you have fulfilled the purpose of YOUR life? Have you? Well, let me tell you . If you said yes, you are wrong. Nobody's purpose on life is complete so long as you're alive. God put you here for a reason, to please Him, to bring more Christians to church, so that they might be saved. That's your purpose. Remember it. Never lose track of this. As you walk down the journey of life, you will encounted MANY MANY opportunities and chances to share the gospel with other people and tell them about Christianity. That, my friends, is evangelism, which is to share the good news about the coming of Jesus, and that he died on the cross for everyone. To me, the journey up to Heaven is not that of a lift, where the space is limited. We cannot be so selfish ; we must tell others the way up there, there's an infinite amount of space for all those who would believe in our Saviour. Thus, the journey up to Heaven is that of a stairway, where everyone, so long as they find this staircase, and ascend up to Heaven and be with our Heavenly Father. We , as Christians, must tell others about this staircase, and lead them forth to have eternal life and joy in Heaven. Remember this, fellow brothers and sisters in Christianity. I wish you to go forth and share this GREAT piece of news to everyone around you. Start small, just tell your family members or friends who do not know Christ. Do not fear rejection or disappointment, let me share with you this ENLIGHTENING piece of news; a survey was conducted in USA. It said that among the millions of people in America, over half of them would attend a church service so long as someone who invite them. There! Isn't it nice to know that? So many people would be just glad to be invited to join you in church. Thus, I urge you to start telling people about Christ and his death on the Cross for everyone.

Being a Christian is not just dedicating Sunday to going Church. It's not just that. Remember that, dont just sit comfortable in your seat in Church every sunday. God never promised a bed of roses. He will give you trials and tests, so as to develop your spirituality. Every trial has a purpose, dont always lament and complain to God to ask him to take away your misery. When Christians are at their lowest point in their life, and have no one to turn to, they always turn to Christ, and this would develop their spirituality and relationship with God. Likewise, we must be prepared for trials and tests ahead, so that we can be closer to our Lord in heart , mind and soul.

today i had yet another uneventful day. except for the evening that is. these days, i just sleep from 11pm to 12noon. i dont want to be awake. it's no good at all, to miss someone so so so much. i just rather sleep, and be with her in my dreams =)) today , i went to northpoint to OBTAIN a onetimeusepumpneedlefor$1. yes! that's quite a nifty term for a piece of shyt metal. hahahah. yep, pumped my ball till it's super hard, that got yaolei complaining " tis ball iz tuu harte!" and that stupidbananamongolshepered kept camping on the grass. hahaha. got this malay uncle who was SUPERB at crossing. his chips were insane. i figure that i gotta work on my aerial saves. my grounder saves ( below shoulder ) are pretty nifty as they are. distribution and cross cutting gotta improve too. my positioning needs some work. in short, i got lots of work before i can be the full-fledged fieldkeeper. i'm too used to that small miniscular goal that is the street soccer goal. gotta adjust. i figure maybe one month or so? YEA! train hard practice hard (:

this whole weeq has been a WHIRLWIND for me. ive been hanging out with KYENSaI the entire weeq. WILLI FUN! (: haha.

INSANE skill. haha. thn we all got inspired and went to youth park and prahtiss . today was a great day. it is ASSEMBLY DAY! haha . how wonderful. 3 periods in a WONDERFULLY air conditioned audi. WOOT. okaye. i slept lik siao. today was quite interesting. the pardoning thing. just hope that guy doesn't get expelled.

woah. i just feel immensely lucky, for a reason still unknown ;)

i dont know why but i dont think i write well when i'm in my blog. i dont even talk sense. lik this , i gave the man an apple who didnt know who it was. the apple had participated in ferocious fighting over the possession of an Orchard. the Orchard was invaded by a large force of Pears, who carried the latest fighting equipment able to be mustered by their ingenious scientists. the Apples were just simply overwhelmed; an apple to 15 well-armed Pears! the garrision had a tough time fending off the incessant waves of attacks that followed. they could not lose this Orchard! if they lost this Orchard, they would have no places to breed their brethren! it was a desperate situation. Captain Applegate , who was the commander-in-chief of the miniscular garrision, ordered that each apple to fight to the very bitter end. if the Pears were to eradicate the Apples, they would do so with immense losses! the end of the apples shall be a bright glory, written down by historians in the Land, and remembered by everyone.

The Pears had pierced through the first line of defense, a thick thicket. the most surprising thing was that they had mastered the application of Pear-fire , ( a creation of an acidic type of flame ), in a short span of two weeks! the apples were taken aback; what further terror had they up their sleeves? every apple fought with tenacity and bravery that slowed the Pears' advance somehow. sadly, every single apple that were located in the first line of defence were mercilessly massacred by the applejuice-thirsty Pears. the female-apples and young apples mourned for the loss of 100 over apples. soon, the Pears had reach the second line of defence, and bitter fighting ensued. great losses were inflicted on both sides, and before the nightfall of the first day, over 1000 pears and apples had lost their lives.

Woo.. soo long never post. Sorry! Haha. well, today was a relatively nice day. yh came over rather early, and we had an invigorating swimm =)). then went down to church to watch the movies. oh yea, before that, we had SPICYY tom yum soup noodles. NICE!

i've been reading the bible, and i think i'll write one this chapter. it's really nice!

Matthew 24:
